Voter Education Booth! Host one at your Church!
-- Goals: 100% Voter Registration & 100% Voter Turnout!
Did you know that only 50% of Evangelical Christians are registered to vote!?
Of those who are registered, only 50% actually vote.
Of those who vote, only 50% take the time to research the candidates and apply biblical principles to their vote.
If you’re keeping track of the math, that means only 12.5% of Evangelical Christians vote according to biblical principles. (Source: Jared Dodd, author of Christianity and Government.)
Mark Gonzales, of the Hispanic Action Network, also confirms the distressing statistic that 75% of Christians DO…NOT…VOTE…
While this statistic is devastating, it also offers a beacon of incredible potential! We the Church are like a massive, sleeping giant, but We the Church could make ALL the difference if we wake up and VOTE!
Just think of the potential impact the Church could have if we flip this statistic and aim for 75-100% voter turnout!
We could literally shift election outcomes and change the trajectory of our State & Nation back toward God!!
To understand more about the potential impact the Church could have, please read my former Substack post “The Sleeping Giant of the Evangelical Church.”
So HOW are we going to reach this goal of 100% Voter Registration & 100% Voter Turnout?…. Through the VOTER EDUCATION BOOTH!
In order to activate every conservative voter in our State, we must all reach out to our Pastors and ask if we can set up a non-partisan Voter Education Booth at our Church!
This Voter Education Booth includes all the basic information people need to vote including:
How to Register to Vote
How to find my Polling Place.
What is on my Ballot?
Early Voting Dates / Options — 47 days in advance, people can vote at their city hall via absentee ballot in an envelope. 18 days in advance, people can vote early at their city hall via absentee ballot fed into the tabulator.
Ask for permission to set up a Voter Education Booth at your Church three times:
Once in July to promote voter registration & raise awareness of the two opportunities to vote: August 13th and November 5th.
On August 4th and/or August 11th to promote the August 13th National Primary Election.
On October 27th and/or November 3rd to promote the November 5th General Election.
To get all the info you need to set up your own Voter Education Booth, to go the “Early Voting Toolkit” created by Ann Boyd of Women Advancing Freedom.
It includes a brief PowerPoint explaining the concept of the booth plus all of the QR codes and info you need to download & print to create your own voter education booth tag boards.
Because the focus of this effort is simply to promote voter registration and provide information about voting that is readily available on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website, it is completely non-partisan and not a threat to your Church’s 501c3 tax exempt status.
While you cannot mention specific candidates or political parties, you can certainly encourage people to VOTE BIBLICALLY!
In addition to your Church, consider other great locations to set up a Voter Education Booth such as: Senior Living Centers, Community Events, Student Outreach, etc. Just think of the potential impact if every person reading this article finds a Church or community location to set up a Voter Education Booth!
Together — through Voter Education Booths — we can activate thousands of voters across our state and help to turn our City, State, and Nation back toward God!
But the majority MUST take a stand!
Every Christian, every Conservative MUST Vote!
Every Pastor & every Congregation must aim for 100% Voter Registration & 100% Voter Turnout! Share this post about the Voter Education Booth with your Pastor and Christian Friends today!!
