Bodily Autonomy vs. Biomedical Control in Minnesota

Bodily Autonomy vs. Biomedical Control in Minnesota
In recent years, each legislative session in Minnesota has contained bills encroaching on our medical freedom with the ultimately goal of erasing our conscientious rights.
Unfortunately, the 2026 legislative session is no exception. The key issue is not pro-vaccine or an anti-vaccine. The key issue is not about the merits or disadvantages of a specific shot.
Rather the core issue is whether the citizens of Minnesota will retain bodily autonomy or succumb to the biomedical control of the state.
The key issue is bodily autonomy vs. biomedical control.
Ultimately, do we believe that the government has the right to forcibly inject a substance into the bodies of its citizens?
If not, then you need to call your State Representative and State Senator and urge them to oppose the bills outlined below.
Bills Encroaching on Medical Freedom in Minnesota
Last year in 2025, a bill passed that impinges on the medical freedom of all Minnesotan children ages birth to five years. The bill allows day care providers to deny care to children with conscientious exemptions to vaccines.
Now in 2026, there are two bills that seek to expand this gradual encroachment on our medical freedom. They are:
HF3775 / SF4017 - Obstacles to Obtaining Conscientious Exemption
This bill would require parents to attend a mandated physician led “education session” plus obtain their sign-off before being able to claim a conscientious exemption.
HF3239 / SF3439 - Adds a requirement for the MMR Vaccine
The bill states that conscientious exemption will not apply to: “a person enrolling or enrolled in a child care facility, certified license-exempt child care center, preschool, prekindergarten program, or elementary or secondary school for immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella.”
To better understand the threat these bills propose, read this excellent alert put out by Minnesotans for Health & Parental Rights.

Look up your State Senator and State Representative. Call and/or email them with your concerns on these bills.
